Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of arthproject.com and the Arth portal (together, the “Platform”), operated by Arth Project (“Arth”, “we”, “us”), Bengaluru, Karnataka.

By creating an account, submitting a service request, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

What Arth provides

• A digital land record — your properties, documents, surveys and approvals organised in one place.
• Document services — obtaining, verifying and updating records such as RTC extracts, encumbrance certificates, khata and survey sketches.
• On-ground services — land surveys, boundary marking, fencing, monitoring and site visits carried out across Karnataka.
• Government liaisoning — we prepare, file and follow up on applications with the relevant departments on your behalf, with status visible on the Platform.
• Developer tools — portfolio management, due-diligence and compliance tracking for builders and enterprises.

Your account

• You must provide accurate, current information when registering and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. Tell us immediately at info@arthproject.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
• One person or entity per account. You may add family members or team members through the sharing features, not by sharing passwords.
• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to use the Platform.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload documents you have no right to hold, or misrepresent ownership of any property.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including fraud or misrepresentation in a government process.
• Scrape, resell or redistribute Platform data or content without written permission.
• Interfere with the Platform’s operation or attempt to access other users’ data.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Fees and payments

• Prices for subscriptions and services are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) before you confirm a purchase, inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
• Service requests may involve government fees and stamp duties — these are collected at actuals and are non-refundable once paid to the authority.
• Payments are processed by RBI-regulated payment gateways. We do not store your card or banking details.
• Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Records and accuracy

Records displayed on the Platform are sourced from government portals and registries and from documents you provide. We verify and cross-check them with care, but the authoritative version of any record is always the one held by the issuing authority.

The Platform does not provide legal advice. Verification reports and due-diligence summaries are informational; for transactions, consult a qualified advocate.

Intellectual property

The Platform, its design, software and content (other than your documents) are owned by Arth Project and protected by law. Your documents remain yours — by uploading them you grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process and act on them for the services you request.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arth’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Platform or any service is limited to the fees you paid to Arth for that service in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays and decisions of government authorities.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

Suspension and termination

• You may close your account at any time; export your documents first, and see the Cancellation & Refund Policy for any active subscriptions.
• We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, or non-payment, with notice where practicable.
• Sections on intellectual property, liability and governing law survive termination.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory arbitration or consumer-forum rights you hold under Indian law.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms as the Platform evolves. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated date; material changes are notified to registered users. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
